Gator mulching mower blades for popular 60" mowers used on many common older John Deere zero turn mowers as listed below. The blades are excellent replacements for John Deere part number TCU15881. These blades are guaranteed to fit all 737, 757, 777, 797 and 997 zero turns when equipped with 60" mower decks.   These blades are 20 7/8 inches long (cutting edge to cutting edge) 3 inches wide and 1/4 inch thick. The center hole is 7/8 inches. Here are several reasons why I think the Oregon "G6" Gator Blade is the best blade for your mower. 1 Gator blades are designed to recirculate the grass clipping into the cutting path resulting in finer clippings for quicker decomposition. This decomposition adds nutrients back into the soil quicker and is less likely to develop diseases that thicker clippings may develop. 2 Unlike a mulching kit, gator blades still discharge out the side. This has several benefits. With a mulching kit it is recommended that the operator only cut off a 1/3 of the grass at a time.
